Why is it that new trends are so hard to ignore? No matter how much you fight against doing what everyone is doing, you somehow end up jumping on that bandwagon too? If you can’t beat em, join em, right? This happens to me all the time. Most recently with these belt bags/fanny packs. I hated the trend at first. Maybe because I wasn’t inspired to try it myself. BUT, and this never fails, I saw a few of my favorite bloggers wearing them and I thought.. I have to have one. Like now.
To be honest, I wasn’t planning on going all in on this trend, so a cheap belt bag needed to do the trick. I was thinking less than $30 for sure. If you agree with me on this, read on because I’ve rounded up the cutest ones under $30.
I actually found this one at Zara by accident. I mean, I had looked everywhere for a belt bag and must have missed this one on the Zara website! Anyway, when I saw it on a mannequin, I knew it was the one. Then, I saw the price ($29) and knew for sure it was the perfect one. Haha!
I paired my belt bag with a simple turtle neck and nude heels. There is something so cool about wearing nude heels with a simple shirt. Kind of like when you pair a dress with sneakers. The belt bag added a little more to the outfit without taking attention away from the heels and other details.
When picking your belt bag, think about what kind of outfits you wear the most and when you will actually wear it. Are you sporty and plan on wearing this with casual outfits? Or do want to go all in and wear it with everything, even the dressier outfits?
