Summer Blazers

My obsession for blazers is very real right now and I don’t think anything is going to change that any time soon. Like, not even the summer heat.

I’ve been pairing them with skirts, shorts, pants, you name it. They’re such a staple and worth every penny! Plus, you don’t have to spend a ton to get a cool blazer you can wear over and over pretty much year-round. (I’m tagging my favorites at the end of this post)

Lately, I’ve noticed girls wearing men’s blazers as well. To be completely honest, I haven’t jumped on that trend, but I do plan on trying it out. I love the look! My only concern is that they tend to be heavier and might be a little bit of an issue on a hot summer day. I would opt to wear it on a date night with a flirty dress or skirt.

If you like the blazer look and want to try it out this summer, don’t let the summer heat stop you! Go for something light and of a light color. I would invest in a white blazer and maybe a fun pink, yellow, or even stripped blazer this summer! I also recommend sizing up. If you want to keep the look light and effortless, a bigger blazer is the answer. I’ve made the mistake of buying a blazer that fits just right and when it’s a little too hot outside I feel miserable! It’s too hot.
