A flirty date night look

Date nights with my husband are my favorite part of the week. I love getting dressed up, deciding on a dinner spot, and having long conversations over wine. Lately we’ve been opting for a movie night at Alamo Drafthouse or Studio Movie Grill. Call us lazy, but we love being able to eat in front of the screen. They’ve just opened a new Alamo Drafthouse minutes from our house, so guess where you’ll find us most weekends.. there!

Last weekend we had a movie night at the new Alamo Drafthouse and finally got to watch Infinity War! We didn’t eat dinner there because most of their items are not Whole 30 friendly, but I really can’t wait to eat dinner there again! We actually had dinner at HG Supply in Dallas. Basically their entire menu is W30 friendly and oh so delicious! I had a curry chicken bowl and I’m still thinking about it. So good.

So my date night outfits vary greatly.. depending on where we’re going and the weather (obv.) This weekend was glorious outside so I felt like wearing anything longer than a mini skirt was unacceptable. I paired one of my favorite new tops with a white skirt and threw on some sneakers for a comfortable, but flirty look.

I just got these GGDB sneakers and I’m in love! I don’t want to wear them out so quickly but I can literally see myself wearing them with everything. I was honestly unsure about keeping them at first, but they’ve quickly convinced me that they are the perfect investment piece. Even more than some Gucci shoes. My opinion. Honestly, thought, investing in a good pair of sneakers is always a good idea.

My accessory was a super adorable mini Kate Spade bag I got a few years ago. I rarely wear it but when I do it really makes my outfit pop. I felt like it complemented the colors of the top perfectly.
